5. Standard deadlines for the deletion of data
If there is no statutory retention requirement, the data will be deleted or destroyed if it is no longer required to achieve the purpose of the data processing. Different periods apply to the retention of personal data, e.g. data with tax law relevance is generally retained for 10 years, other data in accordance with commercial law regulations is generally retained for 6 years.
